Privacy Policy
Last updated 30 October 2026
This policy explains what ClueCat AI, operated by DMA Pulsify Media (“we”, “us”), collects when you use our website and desktop app, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we need to run the service.
What we collect
- Account details. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We never see your Google password.
- Pass status. When your free trial started and when your current pass expires.
- Device details. The desktop app sends an anonymous identifier for your computer (a one-way hash of its hardware ID, not the ID itself) and your computer's name, so we can limit free trials and the number of computers per account. You can see your registered computers on your account page.
- Windows download requests. If you ask for the Windows version, we keep the email address you enter and use it only to send you the download.
- Payment details. Payments are handled by our payment provider. We do not store your card or bank details; we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded.
What stays on your device
The resume, notes and other files you add to the desktop app are stored locally on your computer. We do not upload them to our servers or keep copies.
Live sessions
During a session, the desktop app sends audio to our speech-to-text provider to produce a transcript, and sends the transcript, your notes and on-screen context to our AI provider to generate suggestions. This data is processed in real time to deliver the service. We do not store session audio, transcripts or suggestions on our servers.
How we use your information
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To provide your free session and the passes you buy.
- To respond when you contact us.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.
Service providers
We rely on trusted providers to run ClueCat AI, each bound by its own privacy and security terms:

- Cloudflare, for website hosting
- Plausible Analytics, for cookie-free, aggregate website statistics
- Deepgram, for speech-to-text during sessions
- OpenRouter and the AI model providers it routes to, for generating suggestions
- Our payment provider, for billing
Retention and deletion
We keep your account details while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time by emailing hello@cluecat-ai.com, and we will do so within 30 days, except where we must keep records to meet legal or tax obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, email hello@cluecat-ai.com.
Cookies
We use only what is needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
